Ex HTC Riders How they doing this season , Ahem

After discussing this weekends Paris Roubaix with my Wife and what another member posted on a another thread, “Boonen win most SPECTACULAR since Floyd Landis winning the tour, ahem”

The subject got round to Ex HTC riders and their performances this season compared to last season.

So how are the World Road Champion and World TT champion going this season, and others compared to last ?

Well, Cav was looking good early on this season, but I havn't heard much from him lately. He seems to be sitting out some of the classic spring races for some reason.

And unless I havn't been paying attention, I havn't heard much from Martin, Renshaw, and Velits either. Sometimes a team, like HTC, just have the perfect chemistry, roster and strategy to win that can't be duplicated when broken-up....

According to the announcers on cycling.tv, several people from the management staff at HTC went to Omega Pharma Quickstep and are credited with some of the revival of that team. Some of the riders don't seem to be performing like last year. But, apparently, the former management is still just as effective.

Cav and his girlfriend just had a baby, hence the quiet from him.
