DIY bike stand for heavy loading

I just wrote that. It works so well, it's beyond any expectations! And it's from the lightest material (only carbon fiber could beat that ).

Try it and tell me what you think!

You carry a tree branch with you, incase the trip includes treeless places?

No, it's fixed, you make one and you have it as long as you like. Once you make it, you carry it around as it is, with the tree branch that is.

as one of the characters remarked in the Peanuts comic strip 'you are weird, sir'..

    whatever floats your boat, mate.

    my own weird,
I incorporated a rear wheel stand, in the process of the frame's building.

It, pivoting from the rear end, held up the well laiden Bike
    on early spring Irish campsites
that were soft enough turf to have tent stakes went in quite easily ..
like it was pushing the tent pegs into butter.

Stand incorporated on the frame? That sounds interesting. Do you have a pic of this?

You might want to consider a Click-Stand.

Reminds me of the Click Stand we use on our tandem.

No just Old, Tours in the 80' to late 90's had the film cameras gear,
and the picture taking has been on 35mm film for much longer than Digicams.

so you youngsters go ahead .
