Food for thought: if you aren't dead by 2050, you and your entire family will be within a few years from starvation. Now that is a cruel gift to leave for your offspring. ;)

Excuse me while I puke.

If their intent was to make sure the bike wouldn't be stolen, I think they may have succeeded.

On giving up:
Everyone knows that Christopher Columbus discovered the New World for Spain on his first voyage. But few people realize that on his 4th voyage, Columbus gave up, turned back and sailed for home; within 10 miles of where he could have discovered the Pacific Ocean.
Interesting color combination.

It just needs a banana seat and it will be just fine!
Does it collect information about where I ride and constantly bombard me with ads?
The few, the proud, the likely insane, Metro-Atlanta bicycle commuters.
I like it.

Meh... the old 20-inchers were cool, but the beach cruisers were so-so.
And they do get stolen. I saw one in my mobile home park last year, before and after having been spray painted black.

Wait, isn't this a bike thread in Foo? Shouldn't this warrant a banishment?

Front fender looks kind of short. Could use a mudflap.
That kickstand. hmmm - hope there's nothing in that basket when parked ... Would make a cool cruisin' bike for the park or something except for that seat (btw I LOVE brilliant crayon colors - poor Couch has to endure my "crayon" bathroom - towels are brilliant raspberry, lime, orange and purple - with raspberry rugs - and wall ornements- put yer sunglasses on when entering my bathroom!).
Really, they'll only get used for poking along between buildings for meetings and lunch and such. So I am pretty sure any old thing would do.

Google's campus is not so large that they require Surly LHT's to get between buildings... YET. They do have the vast majority of Mountain View north of 101 between the Stevens Creek Trail and San Antonio Rd, though.

I like it too - a lot. Like another poster, I'm dubious about the rear axle kickstand - those don't work too well from personal experience. I'd like to see a mud flap, chaincase and skirt guard too. But overall, I like it.
Needs ape hangers, a banana seat(metal flake vinyl) and a sissy bar.
We ought to design the 'bikeforums' bike.
