Ride on through the morning drizzle. I did that this morning and as long I kept moving and warm its no problems.
I rode from Kenmore Square to Norwood on Saturday 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, 14 miles and caught some mist during the last mile, Rode back 4:00 to 5:00 PM and it the first ride this year in summer attire (sunny with a strong tailwind). I only bring out my road bike if there is no chance of rain, and Weather.com called it right.

Just woke up for my early morning ride and the sky opened up as I was walking out the door. However after checking the radar it looks like a I have an hour window after these storms pass so I'm heading out soon!
Managed to get in a quick 8 mile ride between the rain. Was hoping for a longer ride but it satisfied my craving for now
Glad I've tucked in my 42-mile ride yesterday, with two hill grabbers to bookend it. Otherwise I'm feeling like a coffee fanatic who's not getting his fix today.
On the other hand, I prefer having the rains early in the spring just like now rather than come up intermittently during summer when a lot of rides are planned.
Pacific NW, I'd be SOL if I decided to not ride on rainy/drizzly days.
I ride wherever I need to come rain, shine, snow, hail, gale or flood. Powering on through a rainstorm is surprisingly fun.
I've got a bike, you can ride if you like it's got a basket, a bell that rings and things to make it look good- Pink Floyd, 1967

You can click on Boston and click on play animation for a more local view. but sometimes the bigger view helps you see whats on the way.
I got my ride in Saturday, a nice 30 mile I've got going. Windy though. Got a good workout in. Lots of riders out and about. This time I passed a paceline. Don't know why they were only doing 15. They were holding me back so I kinda had to pass them. Felt good cuz it was on the last 5 mile leg of my loop.

Forget the weather and start looking for clothing. Tights to stop the rain stinging the legs-Base layer to allow "Extra" wicking of sweat from the body as you have put on a Waterproof jacket that does not breath as good as it should do- and Sealskinz socks and gloves to keep the feet and hands dry and toasty.
You ain't going to stay dry but at least you will be warm.
How long was I in the army? Five foot seven.

thanks but I do have all that. used to bike commute year 'round. now I get one ride per week. I'm barely hanging on to the sport right now and can use every bit of motivation to get off the couch.
