I am looking at your threads and have a similar problem with TN. In an earlier post you stated that the condidtion is not bicycle related but I think it may be because of extra pressure on the Trigeminal nerve due to the neck position when road biking. My problem is getting worse and cold damp weather really hurts. TN is so rare that finding a doctor is a problem. I have had three teeth removed and even half of my thyroid. The pain is worse now. I tried a chiropractor and he gave up after several months. Eating, kissing, drinking a cup of hot chocolate or laughing can trigger pain that last for several minutes. Similar to cramps, the pain is intense and then goes away until I laugh or try to eat a potatoe chip.
I wonder if bikers have higher incidence of TN that others?
