48 x 16. I should have at least rode with cleats/clips... :/
Congrats! How sore are you? As a MS150 newbie, I couldn't imagine going with a fixed gear, especially with the day 1 winds and some of the Austin hills.
We (wife and I) had so much fun despite my dealing with a really bad cold. We rode sponsored (Calpine), which made everything easy at Lagrange & Austin. We will definitely do it again.
LOL you are one of the crazy bastards on a single speed! That's pretty bad ass man. Congrats! I also want to meet one of the guys that finished on a unicycle.
thanks, everyone.I was pretty sore the next day, but I still came into work and was pretty tired after lunch. The only pain I had was getting up and out of my seat. Walking wasnt a problem around the office. Sleeping was tough when tossing and turning... :/I need to get away from the SS/FG scene and get a road bike, but I need to sell both my Bianchis first. : )
oh yeah, that guy on the unicycle was nuts... I wonder how it was like going down/uphill.
VERY cool! You guys doing the fixie thing aren't rightI saw a group of 3 doing the PMC a couple years ago ( http://pmc.org/ ). They were walking their bikes through the finish area when I noticed their cranks spinning. 194 miles in 2 days on fixies - nuts!
The uni thing has always intrigued me. My son can ride one off road but I can't even get started. This guy seems to have it figured out a bithttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sV_w3...eature=related
