    Replacement 9 speed crankset?

I've got a Felt Elite hardtail 29er. It's got a mix of SRAM x-0 and x-9 components, all from 4-5 years ago. The cheap Truvativ Firex crankset that came with the frame has been damaged and I'd like to replace it. Any suggestions for a decent quality moderately priced 9 speed crank to replace it with?

Last I looked, Jenson (jenson.com) had NOS Shimano LX cranksets with external bottom-brackets on sale for $89.99. I and my friends have a few on our bikes.

Look at the major online players -- Price Point, Jenson, Cambria, Performance, Nashbar, etc.; look for something in the price range you want. Besides being educational, it's FUN!

Thanks for the tips. I just pulled the trigger on that LX at Jenson. Seems like a great deal, and just the kind of thing I was looking for.
