Hi everyyone,
I just got an old resprayed frame with (possible) original parts, anyone can help me ID it?
It's made with libellula tubing, nervex pro (filed) flat dropouts and an unknown but correct fork, what is it, Nervex Vagner Haden?
Based on the tubing it could be an Rabeneick, Frejus and maybe many others..
It came with; Magistrioni cottered crank, Ambrosius stem looks like short model '39, and TDC continental S headset.
The latter was rusty and maybe correct but the upper cup fitted loosly, lower cup and crown race fitted firm but still removeable by hand.
Except for the BB nervex stamp, an 'A' on seatlug and the dragonfly, no markings yet on the frame.
Soon i will start to remove all the non original paint, but on this moment i like to get some hints on the crown and possible brands, it will help me in my search!
When cleaned a bit better i will make an online album, Thanks till so far
Paul

Hi people, sorry for the delay, i was offline..not that i wanted to..
@unworthy; a few more pictures in this album; https://picasaweb.google.com/1170878...eat=directlink
I have to determine the threads, first i have to make a kind off tool to remove the bracket, or find a way..(width bracketlug is 65mm)
Next i will remove all the black paint and clean her up better, hope to get a chance this week, then i make a new series fotos!
At least the fork has very thinned tubing towards the dropout, this starts before the bend, it looks less strong, but i checked, very stiff and straight.
@dbaki; i saw the frejus seatclamps there very nice, so it could not be a frejus i quess, was it uncommon to build a british bike with italian parts 9exept for the drop outs with a fork crown sometimes seen on a dutch bike, i saw a crown like this on a '78 Rih, but this bike must be older.
Also the two headlugs are filed by, is there a relation with the builder?
greetings Paul
