Most all of my bikes are in boxes since we are moving. But I recently fixed up my one do it all bike, a Soma double cross. I love the bike for all around riding esp. when I am out of shape (like right now,). The parts were all "donated" from other bikes and/or good friends. The wheels came from a Bridgestone RB-1, the crank (a Suntour XC pro) from a Trek 720 that I rode across country, the Selle Italia turbo saddle came from a Team Miyata I used to race, the cantis are xc-pros that I had lying around, and the Deore LX derailleurs and Shimano 7 bar end shifters came from a Bridgestone X0-2. The brake levers are old school gran compe. The headset is new but I scrounged around for a seatpost, stem and bar. It was a fun build:
