    First "team training" day.

Had my first team training day this last weekend. Man it was fun, even more so than the novice sessions. We basically had the team split up into 3 groups. Juniors, Cat 1/2/3, and Cat 5 training. Our Cat 1/2/3 guys are training for TTT so it was fun to watch them at race speeds. I held on for their 1 lap sprint after our warm up laps, but I don't know if I could have held on for much longer

All in all, I did my first timed set of f/200m. Best time of the day for me was 13.1s . The higher up guys were doing flying full laps, so I didn't really have much to compare with other than the rest of the cat 5 guys. In short, had a good time. Going to get my training plan set up for the next two weeks and hopefully be racing by June.

Carleton's advice to join a team has helped immensely. They motivated me to train harder, and having a team coach provides the resources to do it correctly (at an EXTREMELY low cost). I was training WAY wrong prior.

    Cheers.

Agreed with Jaytron. Team training is so much better.
