Your Preferred Geo for Your First Higher End Bike

I've been tossing around the idea of getting a higher end bike. I don't race or anything but enjoy riding as much as possible. I would just like to experience a highed end group (like Red) on a higher end frame.

I swing back and forth between something more agressive like a SuperSix Evo and a more "comfort" oriented frame like a Trek Domane, Pinarello Kobh (now called DogmaK), or similar.

I realize the distinction between these bikes isn't huge. Just wondering if you were going to have one fairly nice bike if you would want it to be on the more or less agressive side of the spectrum. I have both a Caad and a Synapse and can ride both more or less equally well though I'm not flexible enough to slam them stems.

I go for the less aggressive due to age (51) flexibility, and the fact that I do not race. I enjoy riding as much as possible, usually 150 mile per week, and I want to be comfortable doing so. Just don't get cought posting pics of your bike with the stem not slammed or not enough seat post showing, or fashion police one here will be all over you.

If you just want to experience it, then, um, go to a bike shop and ask if you can take one on a ride. Most will let you.

I have experience with different geo, just not sure which way to go. I like both but kind of leaning towards an evo - just not really fast enough or flexible enough to placate the fashion police.
