need some help identifying this bike.

I'm planning on doing a bike build and I found this bike for 30$ and I'm trying to figure out what kind of bike it is. The guy that has it for sale has no clue what kind it is either he just told me it was a regular bike. To me it looks like a late 90s with shimano gear on it. Please help, for the price i might just buy it anyway for a extra.

update, he told me the only writing on it says "leechi", any ideas? Thanks in advance.

lee chi , a cantilever brake manufacturer.Not a really good clue as they were used on lots of lower end bikes . Check for alloy rims , alloy parts. Every 30 $ BIKE deserves a home !

Nvm, went to look at it. Its a road master. That's a big no go!
