Was browsing around and found this guide for fixing practically every bike noise possible and thought I would share. Nothing bothers me more than noises I can't seem to get rid of.

Nice resource....Dude, I am the worst and figuring out noises. I had this clicking noise that wouldn't go away on pedaling. I finally just replaced the BB, the Look pedals and got a new chain. (granted the chain was way overdue and the pedals were a little ratty....anyway, noise is gone along with about $150.![]()

I figured out the secret to fixing bike noises a long time ago. It's called an iPod.![]()
I may be fat but I'm slow enough to make up for it.
I used that resource a couple months ago when I had what sounded like a click in the bottom bracket. After checking, greasing and re-tightening, it wouldn't go away. One of the suggestions on that site was to check the derailleur hanger screws. Sure enough, they were loose. I probably would have never thought to check those if it wasn't for that guy...
I use earplugs.![]()
Don't believe everything you think.
Alright, I'll be using this this weekend. I have a click on the new bike that just wont go away...tried all the stuff that's worked on previous bikes with no luck.
I will not be defeated!
