How do Tour of California riders...relieve themselves?

I googled and found info on Tour de France riders that the peloton will take pee breaks on the side of the road in smaller groups and then catch back up to the rest of everyone, but then read that public urination is illegal in the US and/or CA (I forget which)...so how do the Tour of California guys do it?

Be very careful if you find a full (water) bottle.

They either stop by the side of the road or pee on the bike.

I can't remember what stage (either 1 or 2) of the Tour of California...you can tell that a rider is pulling the front of his bib down to pee. There is another pic on the web floating around of Tom Bonnen peeing on the bike. He has a team mate pushing him on the bike while he relieves himself.

Funny, that never seems to make it into the TV footage.

Stage 1, Moto cam is following AG2R rider who whips it out and relieves himself. Production quality was at an all time low on NBC sports coverage...

Yeah it does. Occasionally. As Phil says, "He's taking a natural break."

What exactly does one use for search terms? I'd imagine that some pretty weird stuff might crop up if you're not careful.

Must be REALLY bad to be drafting behind him at that point.
