I'm trying to squeeze semi-knobby tires into my IF Club Racer to do some mixed terrain rides. The current candidate is the Kenda Small Block 8 but I am not sure it will actually fit. The Club Racer is shodden with Challenge Parigi-Roubaix clinchers now and they measure to just under 30mm with my calipers. That width leaves very little clearance around the fork blades so anything wider will probably rub and I'll like to avoid rubbing on carbon bits if possible.
So my question is, for those who are running Kenda Small Block 8 in the 700c x 32 size on narrowish rims (e.g., Open Pro), what actual widths you are seeing and at what pressure? I think I read somewhere that the SB8 35 are about 32mm wide so I'm hoping the 32 will be sub-30mm.
