Mooning the Wind, and Other Stories From Our 2008 Alaska to Mexico Tour
Hey folks, I already get quite a bit of traffic from bikeforums.net, but I thought I'd pop on to make my travelogue a little easier to find. In 2008 my fifteen year old brother and I (joined in Vancouver by our dad) did an unsupported tour from Anchorage down to Tijuana, and we had the time of our lives. We took over 5000 photos and 35+ hours of 1080p HD video footage and great journal entries for every single day of our ride. I'm recounting the events in my blog over at www.alaska-to-mexico.blogspot.com and I'm hoping to release the stories as an eBook and print-to-order paperback. Until then, I'm posting each of the days as a work in progress--sort of a rough draft that I can get some reactions from and just share my story. I love getting feedback, as it points me in a better direction, so please leave comments if you give the blog a read.
I'm also working on putting the video footage together into daily summaries, but here is a little sample:
**2013 UPDATE** My wife and I did a big trip to India in November 2012, and due to the planning required and money needed, I had to take a hiatus from writing new installments in the blog, but now with the holidays being over, I'm getting back on the horse. Keep an eye out for new chapters coming soon!

Reason: Updates
I'm glad you like it! At some point, I've got to go back and revise my earlier posts, but for now, I just need to focus on getting the new posts up. I'll keep things up to date here on the forums. BTW, there is a new post, Day 12 - Whitehorse to Squanga Lake if you haven't checked that out already.
