I have the usual bike on vacation problem. I don't want to deal with the hassle of traveling cross country with a road bike, but I want something better than the usual beach cruiser junk available at most tourist destinations. Does anyone know of a place where a decent road bike can be rented in Baton Rouge? I would even pay a private party for the use of one of their own bikes if there is a trusting soul out there. So if you have a bike that was replaced by your new Tarmac with DA electric, I would like to ride the old one. I am 6'0" and usually ride a 58 cm Cannondale SuperSix. If things work out along the private party route I can provide references.
