Denton Bike Co-op
Denton has Querencia; a bike co-op 501(c)3 nonprofit storefront that allows one to learn how to repair their own bike, under supervision, along with training, education, and safety. We help all ages learn to ride safely, and have used, donated bikes and parts to encourage those that need to get through that learning curve, to ride safely, and repair common problems. One of our philosophies is recycle used bikes in the community, and reduce the reusable bikes and parts from the land fill. I guess what I'm getting at is if you are near Denton, come by,visit us, maybe volunteer your time, use our small shop, donate, and this fall, join us on our rides. Off the square one block west on Cedar behind SCRAP just north of Campus theater. I'm hoping this doesn't violate any rules as this is my first post, and encourage any that are able and wish to, to help us out.

Sweet, I heard about you all. I went to UNT, but am in Austin now. It sounds like the cycling community has grown up there in recent years.
