Gt Aggressor tires

Hi Guys

I was just sitting here wondering if my gt aggresor tires are tube or tubeless, I assume that they are tube tires. Would anybody know off the top of there heads. Here is a link to my bike

i have a 2011 gt catalog and it list kenda mountain 26"x2 1/2" tires but online they list GT All Terrain, 2.1"/1.95" (F/R), Wire.

ck with the lbs you purchased your bike from.
the thing i found out about gt listings that they changes things with out notice.
i have a gt traffic 4.0. and it did not come with some of the parts as listed.

The tires I have dont say anything like kenda on the sidewall

I don't think there are many (if any) bikes that come set up tubeless yet- it just doesn't work as well as tubes for shipping or sitting in a store.

Thats what I mean, I dont know how to check them? Im still new at this and cant tell. The specs on the site dont say.

Thats what I thought too, I was looking in the manula for the bike and there was no mention of the tires being tubeless. So I guess it just assumes there are tubes

Why assume when you can just look inside the tire?

What does your valve stem look like? If it looks like a regular bike valve stem, put your bike up-side-down and let some air out of the tires until they are, like, 20psi of pressure. Slowly angle the valve stem and try to push the valve stem into the rim. If it sinks in fairly easily and the tire doesn't let out air, they're tubed. If you get a woosh of air and lose pressure, they're tubeless. If you get a woosh of air, pull the valve stem back out quickly so as to hopefully not loose the seal on the rim. I'm quite sure they're tubed and you have nothing to worry about. Of course return your tire to it's normal pressure after you deflate it.

Thanks 3speed I tried that this morning and they are tubed ( great tip ) and theextremist04 like you were saying not alot of bikes come tubeless. Thanks fellas.
