PK Ripper Fixie
Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the Ripper fixie? I am pretty much a Roadie now, but I was raised BMX on the original PK( wish I had that bike now..!)...I was looking for a fixie to ride around the block with my kids and for short commutes and stumbled upon the pk ripper at $400.00.......anyone have any input on these?

wow...26 views & nobody has yet posted that 1 pic of the broken ripper that some 250lb guy was jumping? when they do, ignore it...
i had the 1st year brushed aluminum version & liked it very much...it was really versatile & i thought it looked pretty cool too. used it as a neighborhood runabout, a commuter, threw on cx tires & took it off-road, & even did some amateurish tricking on mine but remember with that alu frame it is not a real fgfs bike.
the drivetrain, wheels & tires, & other bits from its original iteration to now has changed quite a bit so how suitable it will be for your purposes may depend on which model you are considering &/or your interest in swapping out parts.
