Felt F75x?

Thinking about getting into a cyclocross bike. Alot of gravel roads around here. Leaning towards the felt f75x. 1,500 is about all I have for budget. Any other suggestions?

Bikes: cheap ones

Lots of nice cross bikes out there in that price range. Check out Cannondale, Trek, Kona, Surly just to name a few. I'm sure you'll find something you like

Bikes: '12 Felt F75X, '11 Scott CX Team, '08 Specialized Singlecross

I picked one up in May and I am very happy with it. Due to a number of factors, it has seen mostly on-road use.

I had two issues early on that were addressed by my LBS. First, after the first ~200 miles, there was creaking from the BB. LBS re-lubed and the issue went away. Second, after about ~400 miles, there was a creaking from the rear hub. LBS re-built the rear hub and the issue went away. I have put well over 1000 miles on the bike since then without any issues.

Thanks chief the LBS that carries Felt in Omaha is top notch. They even include a full year of fitting .

Bikes: 2010 S1, 2011 F75X

I race on a 2011 F75x - its been a solid bike. I bit of BB creaking, but easily solved by cleaning out the shell and greasing. Comes with the territory when racing cross.

Thanks for the input. I can't find a better component bike for the price without going used. I'm real close on pulling the trigger and the 2013 charcoal grey looks nice.

Bikes: 2013 Felt F75X

I'm in the same position - I can't find anything with the same component quality as the Felt F75x without spending a few hundred dollars more. And the 2013 model does look pretty slick.

Yep as soon as I'm able to I'll be getting one. I'll probably be saying the same thing this time next year.
