Bianchi Super Leggera with Cinelli Bottom Bracket

I was looking at Bianchi Super Leggera but it had a Cinelli bottom bracket. The owner was saying that Bianchi did this at request of Professionals, does this make sense ?

Thanks,

Andrew

I would not be concerned about the Cinelli BB as Cinelli BB's were used by a wide variety of Italian and other frame makers. I am sure others will chime in with a more accurate statements which might include that the BB was standard for many frame models.

What he said. You can find Cinelli BB shells on all kinds of bikes.

Did they really use the BB shells on this particular model frame "at the request of professionals..."
I think it's more like the master builder/designer at Bianchi just wanted to use good stuff. like they also used dropouts from Campagnolo.
Like Campagnolo dropouts and shifter lugs, good quality Italian parts of all sorts were used on all sorts of good quality Italian frames
