I'm in! Haven't built my team yet, giving it another day or two to finalize rosters, but I'll be there! 3rd last year, looking to grab another podium!

I knew of the Lantern Rouge, but not the Maglia Nera. I just had a good laugh reading this:

"There was real competition to win this particular jersey. Especially noted are the struggles between Sante Carollo and Luigi Malabrocca, to see who could waste the most time. Each tried to lose more time than the other by hiding in bars, barns, and behind hedges, or even by puncturing their own wheels."

Made some changes to my team today. The 2 climber slots and 2 of the unclassified slots I'm not too sure about, but sacrificing them for good choices in the others. Hope it pays off.

Looks like we'll have a good amount of peeps.

Whatever the 3rd and 4th slots are, the options there kind of suck...

i think it would be cool to honor the maglia nera every stage. obviously, you can't have a podium celebration since they're dragging in late every stage.
how about letting them ride at the head of the field during the neutralized "roll-out" at the beginning of stages? i think the tifosi would get a big kick
out of it. would love to see a jersey awarded for it daily too. it would be interesting to see what companies sponsored it. bail-bondsmen? i don't see the
french or spanish being down with it with their respective national tours but the italians...just maybe.

Believe it or not, I'm the defending champion of the BF Fantasy Giro. I'm back again as team Scansorial.

I really hate the "climbers" category again. I don't know why they screw this up every single year.

Climber category, indeed, sucks. Anybody know who went down in the crash on stage one?

Some good lookin' teams here! I will be tailing until we hit the mountains.

My namesake (Puccio) took the pink today! I had to have him on my team, didn't expect any points from him!

Bikes: Cross-Check/Nexus commuter. Several others for various forms of play.

So we're up to 24 in the mini league already.

I'm just going to go all sneaky quiet Hesjedal 2012 on you for now but will back to talk some trash in the 2nd or 3rd week (I hope).

Slipping way down the order, Intxausti is the only thing keeping me in touch. Was hoping for something from Goss today too.

Come on Wiggo, get the finger out!

When you say that from many places in front of me, it makes me want to hurt you.

Just stand by for the day after tomorrow when Phase 2 of my master plan begins.
