Bikes: Stewart S&S coupled sport tourer, Stewart Sunday light, Stewart Commuting, Stewart Touring, Co Motion Tandem, Stewart 3-Spd, Stewart Track, Fuji Finest, Mongoose Tomac ATB, GT Bravado ATB, JCP Folder, Stewart 650B ATB

Really bad photo...

IME Campy drop outs have only one eyelet, or none. At least with the 1010s and their siblings since the 1970s. Could the second eyelet be brazed on? Andy.

Better photo, thanks.

Still not sure if the second eyelet was added. One way to see is along the underside of the eyelet. Where it mates up against the drop out. Is there a fillet of filler or not. The eyelet that was forged during the manufacturing will have no fillet and there's a mold flash remnant along the drop out's spine (and the eyelet's outer surface) just as it meets the eyelet. The trouble is that with care these manufacturing marks can be removed (and many feel that they should be for aesthetics) so the tiny fillet might be the only give away. Also the location of the eyelet (WRT the drop out's spine), it's symmetry with the other side's eyelets and the thickness of the eyelets might suggest the truth. Andy.

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.

At Trek, we brazed a second eyelet onto 1010 dropouts for the model 720 loaded touring bike.
