Raleigh Space Rider - 3 Speed, 24" wheel

I have a really sweet (?) Raleigh Space Rider. It's a 24" wheeled bike with a Sturmey Archer 3 speed/coaster brake rear hub. It has some scratches and a very nasty bend in the front wheel (probably couldn't be repaired fully even with a clamp/hammer/2x4), but has the makings to clean up to a very nice bike. Here are a couple pictures and I can get more. I'm sure it's something that needs to go via some 'net based forum (here, Ebay, etc.) vs a local Craigslist deal...but what would be a fair price?

It's cool and in nice shape (outside of the wheel) but very few kids are going to want to be seen riding that style of bicycle. They want ATBs or BMXs. I'm afraid it will restrict the resale value, along with the wheel. Given the need for a replacement wheel you're probably looking at nothing better than $25 and may not even get that, due to the style.

I agree with T-Mar about the price appraisal. Sadly, there is not much of a market for such bicycles, however...

I do not, necessarily, agree that kids won't find such a bicycle interesting. My grandson absolutely loves his vintage bananna seat bicycle, that I found for him a couple of years ago. He actually prefers it to his BMX. I should add that my grandson's case might be unusual, since he sees my interest in vintage bicycles and might be skewed in that direction also.

Anyway, good luck with the Space Rider.
