saddle
im now a roadie, but need a new comfortable saddle, my specialized secteur's saddle is not comfortable even with padded shorts. Sounds like the Brooks b-17 saddle is highly reviewed for comfort

Like 10 Wheels said, Brooks aren't everyone's choice but they are great saddles if you like their characteristics. I have used them since 1978, usually a Team Professional or a B-17, and I love them, may well switch my Prologo Kappa for a Swift shortly. You should try and ride some friends bikes with various saddles and see what feels best for you. If you can ride a Brooks B-17, but be warned that they break in to the shape of the riders butt and might feel strange to you. If there is a saddle display where you got your Sectuer see if the Specialized Romin or Toupe are available, as well as some other Spec saddles. A saddle is hard to just say "This is the answer for your riding needs" to another rider. Go through the Road Cycling Forum and read up the various threads, just beware of the smart ass answers you may encounter, ignore those, please.
