I'm here from my weight loss journey. I started off walking, turned into running and now biking. I've lost 50+ lbs just in running and am hoping biking will help my running goals. I chose a cheap bike to beat to hell and am happy so far. The next bike may be coming soon, if a road race catches my eyes.

Great job! I hope you enjoy your bike! expensive bikes are overrated, imo. of course i do it for enjoyment, not a paycheck. i'm sure the pros would disagree

thanks! I've been eye-balling the REI bikes and just can't seem to accept a $1500+ price tag.
