I am thinking of buying the Motobecane Fantom Cross UNO for commuting. http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/uno.htm The only thing that is stopping me is it's upright frame design. (I ride 10+miles-rolling hills, each way to work.) Any feedback to this or other bikes that might fit the bill?
Change the stem and seat post configurations if you're worried about being too upright. Get a longer stem with a negative rise and get a seat post with a setback and voila, you're now not as upright as you were.
I use a Cross-Check for an equivalent. Its ok.
