    Finally some good mud guards!

I got a Litespeed Siena to be my winter/training bike with the intention off putting something like Raceblades on there.

So I bought some raceblades and found the front wouldn't fit and the bike was troublesome at best. Furthermore it didn't provide full coverage.

Anyhoo, I ordered some Crud Road Racers a couple of days ago and just fitted them.

    Wow.

Full coverage on a bike with race bike clearance.

They look far better than the raceblades and don't rattle at all...

    Pics to follow...

They perform brilliantly. In the dry...

It's been glorious sunshine today in blighty! No rattles, rubbings etc. They look like they will do the keeping dry bit perfectly well. Very happy with my purchase. Anyone want some second hand race blades?

Those look really nice. Would be nice if the coverage on the back of the rear tire was a little more. Though, compared to the other options out there, they're probably pretty close to the same coverage.

Yep.. that will still shoot your fellow riders right in the face. need to add a flap

how does the upper part stay off your tires with only one set of stays?

There's a reuseable nylon tie that attaches the fender via a molded slot to the brake fixing bolt/bridge area. Also, the set has two tails. One normal and one longer. The longer could be installed in the rear but it's not as long as those flaps.

Ahh cool. Flaps are good.. ride behind enough folks with normal fenders.. even the "full" wrap around ones you still get shot in the face. easy enough to make like i did out of the stair cover rubber. i went fairly quick and dirty on the attachment but it's my rain bike for a reason so i don't care

I'm using the longer one on the back. I will be crafting some form of flap for those wet leisurely group rides.

The attitude on the faster rides in the wet is one of 'if you don't like it, then ride at the front!'
