    Amazing oiler for my bike

I was in Italy recently with some friends and met several members of the Italian cycling team. They turned me on to this amazing product called ProTecta Precision Needle Oiler where only one drop takes 80,000 lbs. of pressure. After doing some research I found that it is made in the U.S. You can go to www.sfrcorp.com and click on products and see this oiler. I use it everywhere and wow what a difference.

what makes it different? how long does it last before the chain makes noise? does it attract dirt?

From what I was told the oiler was different in that it contains extreme pressure agents to reduce the friction that other lubricants do not have. The product is a synthetic. The unique part is that you only put a drop at a time on shifters etc. In regards to the chain, they make a spray that dries on the metal but has the extreme pressure agents that keep working. I saw a demonstration on a little test machine with a rotating race with a bearing in a holder sitting on the revolving race. where; they used several spray lubricants that seized the same as dry at four weights and when they used the ProTecta spray it went 20 weights or 600 lbs of pressure. The product dries on the metal after a few hours thus the dirt attraction is minimal compared to wet lubricants.
