New H+Son box section rims?

These were debuted at this year's Interbike and look pretty rad, IMO. Apparently they'll be available in polished and hard-anodized finishes:

I tend to agree. It does depend on the bike/application though. At any rate, it's cool to see a low-profile option from H+Son.

they are not black and it will really show with black hubs and spokes. i think it will look fine, but my preference is silver spokes with anodized rims.

they are really just a clincher replica of 80s rims from ambrosio, mavic, fir, and campagnolo:

Yeah, whatever. I went back and added a link just for you Dino.

^^ It seems ol' Prolly's late to the game, though. RVAFixed first posted about these (and had a set) in July.

Only in the sense that they are hard-ano and low profile. A lot went into developing this rims and to liken them to a clincher version of older style tubies completely misses the mark. What makes these rather unique is how the inside of the rim is shaped and the overall width. Pretty clever stuff.

do you have a link to the cutaway for the rim?

they don't look that different from sun CR-18 (or whatever name it has now), velocity razor and similar.
