cervelo p2 v. felt b2

cervelo p2 with ultegra components is 2900 while the felt b2 with dura ace is 3800. felt has better wheels included, but i already have a hed disc, so i only need a front wheel... any suggestions?

Both are great frames, aero wise probably the same. The Felt is a bit lighter, but thats no big deal. The $900 extra is getting you basically better wheels and components. IMO you probably won't get $900 more worth of performance out of the Felt, especially if you have a disc wheel already. Ultegra is every bit as good as DA, just a little heavier.

cervelo every day of the week for me. Get the Cervelo, find an aero front on ebay or cheaper brand new with the difference. Ultegra to DA is not huge, and the Cervelo is just slightly more aerodynamic. But the Cervelo won the hawaii ironman once, which the B2 did not, and the cervelo's just look cooler.

Bikes: Focus trash find commuter, Eddy Merckx Corsa, BP Stealth TT bike, Leader 720 TT bike, Boardman Comp Hybrid drop bar conversion, Quantec CX budget cyclocross build, SerottaNOS frameset ready to build up!

Which one fits you best?

That should be your overriding priority.

Both nice bikes.

Have you looked at the Felt b12?
You could probably get a great deal on an 09' right now. Same frame design as the DA. I ride an 08' B12 and LOVE it.

If Crissy Wellington was on a Felt (or a kids bmx bike for that matter) she would have won in 07' also.

Nice review albeit for 08's

I just bought the '09 P2 from all3sports.com
I do NOT work for them or get commission, just wanted to let any prospective P2 owners know I paid $2100 for a NEW '09 model, plus 15% off all accessories. Talk to Bill, real good guy.

I was pondering the same thing ($2300 '09 Ultegra P2 vs. $2800 '09 Ultegra B2) but after test-riding the B2 fits me better. Decision made. Buy the bike that fits you best.
