I'm Mang Boy
Nope, that's a friend of mine (Tateng).
People around the area call me Mang Boy Nepo.
I'm in the avatar. For other pictures go flickr.com and search for "jitenshamalabon" or "citycruisersphilippines" . There you'll see other pictures which I took during the rides, to include pictures of me and my son Marc..
Here's some pictures of me and my son Marc.

Unidentified Folder Size 24
We just finished assembly of a newly painted size 24 folder. We were not able to identify the brand or model due to faded stickers. Perhaps anyone who sees this bicycle would identify it's brand or model.
I'll be taking pictures later this morning and post it after the shot.

Sancycles: Can you tell me more about the air horn pictured in an earlier post? Is that a device that came from Japan on a surplus bike or are they made or available in the Philippines? Perhaps you could post a close-up picture of the horn.
When I think of an air horn, I think of the horns on big transport trucks. Are the bicycle air horns loud like a truck horn?
Thanks for your thread. It has been very educational.

That one looks really nice. We used to have the Miyata brand here in the US. Maybe we still do. I don't know.

Bridgestone Travzone
This came a week ago and got it from the importer this morning. This bicycle will have changes in parts and dismantling was done this afternoon. Will look for new tires and rims and plating of some parts of the frame. The seat is not original. This is the before look and in 2 weeks parts would be completed for assembly.

how does your horn hold up in the rain? Is its operation hampered by water? Does it rust? Does your mount hold the pump without rotating around the handlebar? Are you happy with this horn?
I've got one like that but I am hesitating with putting it to the actual use. The fact that it came without any mount does not help in that either.
Thanks

Never seen it or heard of it, and it's clear that they are aiming to look like a Raleigh.

Million Tires
It's good I still got an extra set of Million 24 x 1 3/8 tires as replacement for the 24 x 1 1/4 tires of the Bridgestone Travzone. Got a set of Ukai stainless steel rims 24 x 1 3/8 from a LBS which was newly polish to mount the Million tires. Will try if it fits the bicycle frame.

Look Alike
Yes, you're right Tom it is definitely a look alike of the Raleigh Chopper. I just surf the Raleigh Chopper links and was surprised to see the original design. Thanks for the info.

They still make steel rims?

The floral pattern behind the handlebar is a nice touch!
I read a rumor that those brake levers are now illegal here in the US, and I don't know why.

Bridgestone Travzone Up-date
I got the chromed parts of the Travzone frame and assembled the bicycle. We re-installed the original wheels 24 x 1 1/8 because installing the 24 x 1 3/8 size would require modification on the frame, thus damaging the chrome finish. Pictures will be taken this morning for posting. Now I have to order new tires from Japan because the size is not available here in the Philippines. The 24 x 1 3/8 wheels will again be on storage for future use.
