Bikes: Leader

Ok here are the pictures of the new 722TS. They have been shipped to the powder coaters yesterday. Again these frames will come in black, White, glitter Green, and glitter Blue. Sizes center to top of seat tube are 49cm, 51cm, 53cm, 55cm, 58cm, and 61cm. We will be taking preorders next week. Leader 722TS is the first frame ever to come into the US market with a hydro formed steel tube set. Leader worked directly with the tubing company to design it. Took almost a year but it was worth the wait. Leader has always been a leader in frameset design and technology and we are proud to offer you something fresh and different.

We will post more information on this new model soon. Please keep in mind this geometry is more for street use and not the trick model. We will post information on this soon. If anyone has any question please let us know.

sell a cheaper version that's just raw like the one in the pics! Looks sweet. I don't need no fancy smancy powdercoat!

We tried to do this but the factory advised it would corrode in less than six months. Leader offers a lifetime warranty so we just did not want to take a chance. We will do our best to keep the pricing as reasonable as possible.

Actually we were going one step further using powder coat. That is where we got the six month guarantee. This is just not good enough. With standard clear coat only one month. All the people that bought raw with clear coat will start to notice rust within a few months after purchase. Especially in more damp parts of the country. What I can say is we are making a special edition 725TR in raw finish with clear on it. With aluminum it will not be as bad.

i <3 raw alu frames.

raw steel just seems like a bad idea imo. no problem here going with powdercoat.

Paint the frames with white reflective paint....
Market it as the "ghost bike"
You'll sell millions
