Cassette Spacer(s) - New Campy Wheel & 10 Speed Shimano Cassette
Just bought new wheels and a cassette and want to make sure I put them together correctly the first time so I don't bugger something up.
Campagnolo Shamal wheels with Shimano 9/10/11 speed freehub
Shimano CS-6700 11-28T 10-speed cassette
The Campy wheels came with a spacer they call Adapter (A). The translation on the instructions is poor at best: "With freewheel bodies 11s, it's recommended the use of adapter (A) only for sprockets 9s and 10s Shimano and SRAM. This adapter (A) must be inserted on free wheel body previously the 10s sprockets and/or each eventual washer of 10s sprockets." Not the easiest translation attempt to decipher...
The Shimano documentation says, "If using with a special 10-speed freewheel, a spacer is not required."
So, do I need to use both spacers or only the one supplied by Campy?
