Advice requested on baby seat and rack that can take panniers

I am buying a baby seat for my one year old son for quiet family rides in a nearby park. I'm going to leave the rack permanently mounted on a bike dedicated for carrying my son and other things, including light grocery loads, and for this reason I want to be able to pop off the baby seat and pop on a pair of grocery bag panniers or something similar.

I've had two baby seat setups recommended to me: the Topeak model and the Copilot (formerly Rhode Gear / Blackburn) Limo model. In person I think the Topeak feels more solid and better made, and the way it fastens to the rack seems more secure (the salesperson warned me, however, that the Limo display model had been around for years). The only thing holding me back from getting the Topeak is that its rack has a very unusual rail structure with fat tubing that's too big for the clips used to attach panniers, or at least the panniers I've seen. You can get them on there but it's not a good fit. The Limo, on the other hand, comes with a standard Blackburn rack which can take standard accessories.

Can anybody out offer any advice on this decision? Have you succesfully used panniers on the Topeak rack, or do you feel differently about the quality of the Limo? I would very much appreciate your thoughts.

We just bought the Copilot Limo and it is awesome! I love the harness and the roll bar that goes over his head so it's easy to load him in by myself. He seems very comfortable in it as well. We looked at both and decided the Limo was the best choice for us. I have the Navigator 200 and it works great with it!
