Sofa Bike

The bike co-op entry in this year's Festival of Lights Parade is coming along nicely. The sofa bike is the cornerstone piece. It rolled even smoother when I put some air in the front tire.

It reminded me of the Couchbike by Bicycle Forest a number of years ago. Their's is a tandem.

That's the video that got me listening to Dar Williams. Great singer/songwriter.

Actually more a 'sociable'. The word 'tandem' indicates that the riders are one behind the other while a 'sociable' bike has the riders side-by-side.

Just remember that you have an extra hour to sleep on the sofa bike before you ride it to church.
