Riding Alone on So Cal Bike Trails, Safe???
Hi All,
Does any one here in So Cal ride the bike trails along the riverbeds (san Gabriel) alone. Is it safe??
I used to ride there all the time cause I live so close but since I started riding again I wonder. I currently ride in El Dorado park along the roads and just make circuits to make up the miles, but it can get kinda boring going in circles.
Thanks,
Steve

I've been riding for years between Ramona and south to Peck. Never had any major problems.
I don't like the new tunnel under the 10 freeway. In the morning (before the sun comes up), I skip the trail and use surface streets to get to work.
In the afternoon, that tunnel is so dark you need lights.
Just my .02
