I love Madison, WI

I live in Whitewater which is about 40 miles away, and I've been going to Madison all my life, but after yesterday I am so in love. The weather is beautiful, the hills are plentiful, and there are bikes everywhere! They have nice bike lanes and an awesome liberal atmosphere. I am so moving there a year from now.

Me too !!!

I live in Rockford, IL - my wife and I work in Madison, WI; we lived in Madison 1978-1984 - I'm an '82 UW-Mad grad. We hope to be moved back up to Madison by the end of this Summer - can't come soon enough.

went to madison for a while. love the badger.
i remember when i went to school there ('82-'84) playboy magazine had a list of top 100 party schools. there was an asterisk at the bottom that said: note, university of wisconsin was excluded from this list because this lists the top amateur party schools, and this school is so professional when it comes to partying that they are excluded.

now i go once a year to football games. will be there at the Barrymore Theatre to see a band next month.

and the city is so bike friendly....
