from Surrey to Nanaimo to Gabriola Is, Thetis Is and Victoria
I'm planning a bike trip and intend on going from Surrey to Nanaimo then Gabriola Is then to Thetis Is. and finally stopping in Victoria and later returning back to Surrey. Any suggestions for routes to take and trails to consider are appreciated. I would like to know the safest and fastest routes, but any interesting trails are cool to know about just in case I have some time to kill. Thanks!

Once you land in Victoria you can take Lochside Regional Trail all the way from the ferry to downtown Victoria(35km ish) views of the mountains in Washington, through farmland, beside a golf course, then along the water in to downtown. Once downtown you can also ride the beautiful waterfront of Dallas road which turns in to Beach Drive and then finally turns in to Cadboro Bay Road.
Also if you are going to do Gulf Islands you should definitely ride Salt Spring Island on a Saturday, there is a huge market in Ganges and lots of super scenic riding.
