For those that use EggBeaters here is a trick I use to lube mine. Each EB set comes with a screw on lube plug. I was unhappy with its performance, so I drilled and tapped it for a standard grease fitting. Took all of 5 minutes. Now I just remove the dust cap screw on the lube plug and use my small grease gun to lube the pedals. Works great. All my bikes have EBs and this works most best on my MTB. It forces out the crap and relubes in one or two pumps.
