cities
Seattle is pretty cool, you can ride all year round and the ferry system gets you outta downtown real quick on a fun cruise, and the car-heads tend to give you some respect. If you like it where it's green try it.
Where I live now, Spokane, has some great terrian variety see my post in "hiya, where are you all from" in this section for links to see what we have to offer here. It literally takes a few minutes to get out of town, and once you do the traffic is very light. We've had several national road/criterium/time-trial chamionships here, another master's coming this year, and two Olympic Road Trials. It may be possible to ride from here to Canada, about 200 miles or more, in the dirt and on trails.
