Dahon Vitesse i7 vs Dahon Mu D10

Hi Im trying to decide between Dahon Vitesse i7 or Dahon Mu D10.

Dahon Vitesse i7 is lighter (26 lbs) but only 7 speed and Dahon Mu D10 weights a little bit more (27.6 lbs). All this information from Amazon, because on Dahon website weights are like different.

Dahon Vitesse i7 is $799 usd and Dahon Mu D10 is $849 usd. Any one that can help me?

dunno where you get the weights from the d 10 should be lighter
the i 7 has an integral hub and fenders and carrier the mu d 10 has derailleur and no carrier and fenders
( which can be added easily aprox 75 dlr xtra )
I would go d 10 but that is personal as i like derailleur better

HI, i Just found this bike on amazon, great reviews seems light enough and its 18 speed and only $499... ohhh god really trying to find the right bike while spending the right amount to get the best is such difficult for me.

This is the bike: Hasa Folding Foldable Bike Shimano 18 Speed 20 Inch, anyone has heard about it?

You are driving yourself crazy, lol. Seriously, you need to stop looking at options. Get a Dahon. An 8 speed. Get if from Thor. If you buy thru Amazon you will need to likely spend money at a shop to get the bike in proper riding condition. If you cruise through the threads here, you will see Thor really stands behind his bikes. If you keep reading and shopping, you will go insane and never actually start riding!
You can't go wrong with the Dahon - you can always resell it later on and recoup most of your money if you find you want something nicer. But summer will be over before you get a bike if you keep on shopping and reading.....I get it....just do it.

why 18 speeds ? that bike has 28 - 90 gear ratios .... the 8 speed Dahon has 30 - 91 or almost the same without all the complexity
Similar to other 8 speed bikes ....

oh about that bike we do have longer seatposts available as long as they are 33.9 mm .. you will need one ... 500 mm is for "domestic" market in China .... unless you are 5.3 you need more

just wondering

Indeed, to second, don't buy a drive-by brand. Buy a reputable brand from a reputable dealer if you respect your money and time.
