New bike, upgrade?

Hi there,

I'm currently riding a Diamondback Recoil 29" bike, base model.
I feel like I'm starting to out grow it's suspension a bit. To me (although I'm not experienced with better bikes) it feels bouncy and rough on the trail.
I'm considering upgrading to a newer bike, perhaps the Recoil Comp, Atroz or maybe even the Atroz Comp, but I'm not sure if I can justify the expense of upgrading (money is a challenge).
Any thoughts on if I should upgrade my bike, or upgrade to one of these others? I'm looking at DB as I can get a really good deal on them (35% off or so usually).

Thanks in advance for any help.

I wouldn't recommend upgrading your current bike. The expense of a new fork and shock will be more than a new bike. The suspension design of the Diamondback is not the best as it is a single high pivot. Do you have a bike shop you could demo some other designs before buying something new?

Thanks for the reply.
That's kind of what I was thinking...
I do have some bike shops, but they're both in down town areas, so I'm not sure if they have something I could try out.
What's a good suspension style? I have no experience with other designs. Sadly, this bike is all I really know...

Yeah, I'm still interested in one.
Still considering the Recoil Comp.
