Getting the miles in is the only way to get back into shape - how about commuting to work on your bike to increase your mileage?

You should probably answer some basic questions before people help you.

How much are you looking to spend?
How often are you planing on riding? (is this going to be a daily thing?)
What type of mountain riding are you planing on doing?
