New Forum Request: Smart Trainers and Software Apps

Hi, with the proliferation of smart trainers and the apps available I think we need a new forum for this combined topic!

Thank you,

C

I was also thinking this would be a good sub-forum. I feel a bit weird asking (eg) Zwift configuration questions in the general forum, and can't think where else to post such questions. Also, there might be people who want to organize virtual group rides, etc.

Me too. We have multiple categories for bikes and riding, but none for the trainer world, which seems to be expanding rapidly with associated confusion and choices. So yes, I'd like to see a dedicated sub-forum for trainer related questions and discussions.

A sub-forum in Training & Nutrition make sense to me as this is "training" equipment and likely to go silent during the riding season in northern latitudes where most BF members post from. No need to put up a seasonally moribund forum on it's own taking up screen real estate.

Some people have physical or other challenges and can only ride indoors on a trainer. Extreme heat for some is a problem. Extreme cold is a problem for others. Familial or job responsibilities confine some to a trainer. I think it's a year 'round interest/activity for some.

I see lots of interest and confusion on the topic both of which are a good basis for a sub-forum. Screen real estate is cheap - just scroll down .
