Any Suggestions for a Bike Rack?

I am looking for a bike rack to fit on my 2002 Honda CRV. It has a factory roof rack. I am looking at the Yakima Mighty Mounts with the Anklebiter or Lockjaw. I am also looking at the Spare ROC. I have two road bikes, one has a carbon frame and the other is aluminum. I live on a dirt road and worry about the dust getting on my chain if I get the Spare ROC. I also worry about any scratching of my paint or the bikes rubbing together while transporting more than one bike with the Spare ROC. Does anyone have any experience with any of these products?

I like locking my fork so I have the Steelhead.

I am also looking at the Spare ROC.
I like to keep my bike "safe" in a roof rack rather than using it as a rear bumper.

You'll get much more dirt on the chain from riding than from a dusty road.

Bikes are supposed to get dirty.
Dirt and scratches and wear show how much you love your bike.

I was thinking of getting a roof rack but have not really looked into it. I don't like how they sit on a trunk/bumper rack, all bumping and scraping against each other.

No no no ... must keep bike beautiful at all times. No scratches, no dirt ... It's weird but I have even polished/waxed my frame. I treat it the same as my motorcycles.
