Yeah yeah. I just bought one yesterday. Its called the Raleigh Passage 4.0. Basically the same as the C40 but the shift levers are triggers and the paintjob is slightly different. I believe the gears and all that stuff ( I'm new to this too lol) are slightly upgraded and the front suspension as well. I can probably get pictures if you want although im not sure how to post them here. At my LBS it cost $10 more than the c40, a total of $360. I hope this isnt considered bringing back a dead thread, if it is im sorry...

Hello,
My wife and I picked up a pair of the new bikes last Saturday. I got the Passage 4.0, she got the Passage 3.0. From what I can tell the only difference is that the 3.0 has Revo shifters and the 4.0 has the thumb shifters. We put about 40mi on them Sunday, and are really happy with them. I do have to say that I like the thumb shifters better then the revo, but that is just me, my wife is very happy with the twist shift! I can't tell how much they differ from the c40 because I am unable to find any detailed specs on them! The LBS did not have info either! If someone is interested in the c40, I think that the Passage 3.0 or 4.0 is worth a look! Just my thoughts.

Specs are available on the raleigh USA products page. You can compare the various models in 2005 and 2006.
