check out these wheels. i found this on a keirin site. i think they mavic but i'm not sure

Hmmm... I'm looking at this on my cell phone, but that looks like a finish-line type photo, which might mean it's a composite. I don't think the wheels look like that. I could be wrong though.

Yep. Mavic 5-spoke Io front wheels. They aren't allowed in parimutuel keirin racing in Japan, but are ubiquitous in keirins at the worlds and Olympics. This photo is a finish-line photo, which actually is a series of thin slices taken at 1/100th second intervals. The technique of building the photo causes the spokes to seem curved.
