Kryptonite Anti-Theft Plan: Moving from NYC

I've tried to find an answer to this in old threads, with no success. And nothing is posted about this (as far as I can tell) on Krytonite's Web site.

I'm going to buy and register my Kryptonite NYC U-Lock while in New York City, but will move out of state in a month. When I move can I change my anti-theft protection plan to the regular (non-New York) plan? Or am I stuck with the limited one-year NYC plan?

I've e-mailed Kryptonite, but have yet to get a response.

Kryptonite posted a private message for me here on Bike Forum. It is possible to renew the membership if a New Yorker moves out of state. All one has to do is submit the renewal form and information along with a change of address. (They also apologized for my not getting their e-mail.)
